The Diane McLaughlan Track Rules & Guidelines

Over the summer, the Condit community made some major improvements to Condit Park, including our newly constructed Diane McLaughlan Track. As we welcome the Bellaire community to enjoy our new features, here are some reminders to help keep our park safe and enjoyable for all.

Help Us Take Care of the Condit Park

We love that our park is a community hub. However, with its high usage rate, there’s also a lot of wear and tear. Let’s all do our part to help keep our park clean and well maintained.

No Dogs Allowed

Please remember our park is a NO DOG park. It is a rule to keep our visitors safe. It is also a rule to keep our park free of dog waste - it’s no fun for our kids (or adults) to step in it!

No Doggie Waste Bags

Additionally, we ask that you do not place doggie waste bags in our park trash cans. We see people throw them over the fence and miss the trash can, and then they pile up on the ground. Please see the photo. Not to mention, they are stinky! Please do not bring waste bags on our premises and please take it home to your own trash.

Clean Up Your Trash

We encourage you to enjoy the park. However, if you will be hosting a birthday party or other event, please bring trash bags and take your trash home with you. If the trash cans are full, do not leave trash outside the trash cans. There is NO trash service here - we rely on you to take responsibility for your trash.

Park Hours

Weekdays: The park is open in the early morning hours until the start of school and again after school through dusk.

Weekends: The park is open starting around 3:15 pm on Fridays and through 6:00 am on Mondays.

No Bikes, Scooters, Roller Blades/Skates on Track

Please do not allow your children to bring their bikes, scooters, roller skates/blades onto the track. Anything with wheels is damaging to the track surface. Walking or running only on the track please!

We appreciate you taking these rules seriously and helping us spread the word to the community.
