*Cheer on the Condit Art Car
Saturday, April 12th
The Condit Art Car Club has been working hard on this year’s car and will be walking in the parade on Saturday April 12th! We would love to see other Condit families at the parade to cheer us on!
We will let everyone know our number in line to come view the car before the parade starts moving at 2pm.
Viewing starts as early as 11am. We are suggesting to park downtown and have Condit families gather by the Houston Public Library for viewing the parade.
Get there early for a good spot! Please check back here for more updates closer to the date!
*Condit Store Open Tuesdays
Just a friendly reminder that the school store is open every Tuesday for in person sales from 7:10 - 7:30am.

*2025-26 Committee Chair Interest Form
Are you interested in getting more involved at Condit and leading a PTO Committee? If you can give your time and talent, please see the Committee Chair opportunities linked below and submit interest to get involved!
The Condit PTO supports many enriching activities that directly benefit each of our kids. Without the time, effort, and financial support from parents and staff, our committees and the activities they encompass would not exist.
Committee Chairs will be confirmed prior to the current school year close and Chairs are required to attend a Committee Chair transition meeting in May 2025.

*PSI Volunteers Needed!

The Preparing Students for Independence (PSI) is a relatively unique special education class at Condit that serves students who are medically fragile and generally wheelchair-bound.
We need volunteers to sign up for 45-minutes once a week or several times a week (whatever your schedule allows) to assist in getting our wonderful PSI students to their daily enrichment class. We need 2 volunteers every day and would ideally like you to commit for the entire school year on the day of your choosing in either Group A or Group B. This would mean you would be volunteering every other week for the duration of the school year unless a holiday falls on your week. So, if you would like to volunteer on Mondays in Group A, you would sign up for every Monday slot in Group A. You must be VIPS approved in order to volunteer in this role.
This is a wonderful way to be a part of the Condit community and see our amazing enrichment teachers action. Please feel free to reach out to Lindsay Crow, VP of Volunteering, at volunteer@conditpto.org with any questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for your time.
The goal of PSI Volunteers is to support the teacher and teaching assistants each day to ensure PSI students attend enrichment classes. The responsibilities of the PSI volunteer include:
- Helping the students who use wheelchairs get to and from enrichment daily (pushing wheelchairs)
- Assist in supervising the students during enrichment
- Assisting students who need to return to the classroom from enrichment for various reasons
This special volunteer opportunity is available daily (M-F) starting at 9:30AM to 10:35AM.
